Today it's Thursday June 21st, only 3 years since I've last blogged and time to get back on the horse and really what a better time.
On this day, it's miserable weather and I'm delaying the inevitable (getting ready for work!) I'm currently working as a travel consultant, been in the industry I love so much for 20 months now and assistant manager within my store. I never thought I would make it in this industry and every day I discover a new destination to dream about, hoping one day I will make it there, making all the hard work worth while.
However, I am soon to leave this industry to take on the most important job of my life. I'm about to be a mum! In exactly 12weeks today (if it arrives on time) we are expecting our first bundle of joy! A world that is both so exciting and so scary and overwhelming! We first discovered we were expecting after our trip to the Maldives, a holiday we had waited for, for so long and when it finally came about I spent the whole flight there throwing up, with no idea that it was a little person growing inside me, instead of struggling with air sickness and immunization shots! Very shocked to hear the amazing news but thankful that I have the most amazing man in my life who supported me and managed to say all the right things (I'll explain the love of my life later), we are now very happy, excited parents to be!
I hope to be able to blog a bit about my joys and happiness and fears and sadness.... so stay tuned there is so much more to come!
