Catching Up Part 1 January 09

This year I've made a promise I would keep record of things... so far we are already in March and I've only made one entry... So now for a brief update of the past two months and hopefully after then I would like to hope I can keep it up weekly.

Bringing in the New Year for me was rather small... well it was intended to be rather small... Partying at B's with a massive eski of punch was bound to end up messy!! Somewhere along the way we lost all boys to 'party pash' at midnight besides badicoot.... so drinking away and embarrassing Jamie seemed the way to go! Amy Jane, Paul, Tracy and DJ returned from the shed in the early hours which brought DJ and I into a drunken emtional chat or 'out chasing the sheep to knit my jumper' as ome put it while the others slept on the long awaited arrival of Tex. With his arrival we then spent hours laughing at his dribble and we saw the sun rise and many planes over head b4 the two of us slept. Only to b awoken by Kane 2hrs later ready for a game of stacks on! Just what my punch belly and head wanted!! All in all a fabulous nite had by most!! New Years Day - we had to finish off the punch left over so round 2 it was hit it nice and early so we could drive home that nite.... Warning to all sun burns ur legs when ur too hungover to move!!

Having just recovered from New Year's we celebrated my older sis, Jess and Shayne's engagement with a party at Shayne mum's place. They couldn't have asked for a more perfect nite! Full sit down dinner under as canopy of fairy lights surrounded with the vineyard. I loved it and pretty sure most others did too! As one of the bridesmaids I am honoured and impressed to be apart of it!

After the fabulously happy celebration of one sis we had a sobering farewell of the baby sis. Our daring Sarah was packing her bags and moving to New Jersey to be an Au Pair for 12months. Through Cultural Care she got a family Dawn and Preston with 4 kids, she was mainly to look after Wyatt, 10months during the day and Nikki and David after school. So on the 5th... we made our way to the airport to say goodbye to another family member. We have all learnt to hate the airport! I was happy she was going to be making a go of it something more hopefully than what I achieved. But secretly kinda sad that my bum buddy at home was going to leave me all to my lonesome dove! Needless to say there were many tears!!

The weekend after was celebratng Paulie's birthday!! Most of us yet again at B's boarding house. Most of this nite was hazy... I think I was put into a taxi with AmyJane and Paul after they got kicked out due to a fight - a bit of chatting then straight to the swag to pass out a quiet spew or two never hurt b4 bed!! Enjoying the piece and quiet B polietly yells at me bout 5am to inform me that Hot Joe was having a sleep over and a couple hrs after that was Sione walkin in on something with a nice 'Holy FUCK!' lol Following B's return from church and Wally blowing over the limit - we spent the next hr covering Hot Joe now known as 'Just Joe' with chocolate mousse and whipped cream!
